Dog Allergies And You
Knowing about dog food allergies can save you a lot of grief later on. While dogs react to certain types of allergens, humans too can have an allergic reaction to dogs. This allergy can manifest itself in the form of itchiness, sores or infections. But care has to be taken in determining if the problem is indeed dog allergies since other problems can exhibit similar symptoms. A good way to determine if your dog has dog allergies is to be very observant and look out for incessant itching, biting or scratching after your dog has been fed a specific type of food.
Failure to recognize the symptoms of allergies in dogs not only puts your dog through unnecessary suffering but if left untreated could endanger its life or seriously affect its health. To have a happy dog is to keep it healthy.
