College Goal Wisconsin Hosts Financial Aid Meeting at Gateway Technical College on October 20th
KENOSHA — Are you a student? If so, one of the most important questions you may need answered is how to pay for your education. Gateway Technical College and College Goal Wisconsin can help.
To resolve questions and concerns regarding financial aid, College Goal Wisconsin is hosting an auxiliary informational meeting on October 20. The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Gateway Kenosha Campus Academic Building, 3520 30th Ave.
Gateway Technical College recommends that attendees arrive at 5:45pm for registration. Students and parents are encouraged to attend together.
This event will focus on helping prospective students navigate the financial aid process. College Goal Wisconsin will provide free information and financial aid experts.
“By participating in this event, we can help those in our community see that attending college is possible,” says Pam Lowrey, director of Gateway Financial Aid. “Applying for financial aid can potentially help remove financial barriers that hinder continuing education.”
“The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be daunting for some to complete. Those who attend will receive one-on-one help on how to complete the FAFSA.”
Those who attend will be entered into a drawing for a $1,000 scholarship. The necessary paperwork to make the event a success, along with more information, can be found on the internet.
