Get a new 1968 Dodge Charger inspired by the 2022 Challenger
When you look at the 1968 Dodge from eXoMod freighter, you can see that the ratios are different from the stock 1968 charger. Not worse, just different. But you are looking at a new version remade in 2022 Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye. Yes, the C68 Carbon is not an old charger at all.
Is this a 1968 Dodge Charger on a new chassis?

The C68 is a complete carbon fiber restructure, with all the comfort, power, handling and comfort of a new muscle car. for the first time 2022 Challenger It has been stripped from the original outer sheet metal. The C68 Carbon “is the first muscle car made entirely of carbon fiber built on an all-new automobile chassis,” says eXoMod Concepts.
Who are we to say? For starters, the idea of combining the two different cars isn’t as crazy as it sounds. A lot of work? Yes, but not crazy. The wheelbase of both cars is almost identical. But the new Challenger is four inches wider than the 1968 Charger.
However, it only cares about proportions slightly, and not in a bad way. “You have the old school spirit and look, but you have the new school technology and reliability,” Rick Katzif, CEO of eXoMod Concepts, told Autoevolution. “This is the first one there.”
The wheel arches are slightly larger in the C68 than in the 1968 Charger. Although the wheelbases are identical, it looks as if the tire has slid slightly forward on a stand. This results in a little protrusion at the back. And making a big difference is that the top of the Challenger is definitely low.
The carbon fiber body takes out 400 pounds from the charger

But details like the faux door shovels, grille and taillights, and bigger things like the DLO profile and window are all at once. With less rear overhang, the back becomes longer, resulting in a longer lower valance, and the square rear window needs more crown at the top. But these are secondary to the overall impression of the C68.
A big plus is that the carbon fiber body loses 400 pounds of weight. In stock form, the SRT Hellcat Redeye has 807 horsepower. It has a top speed of 200 mph, with a 0-60 time of 3.6 seconds. So with a weight of 400 pounds less, this electric blue pearl-coated brute will surpass anything an owner could throw at him if he had the guts.
Does the inside look like a 1968 charger?

Inside, the cabin is orthopedic except for the seats. In another nod to 1968’s interiors, it now features white leather. And yes, plenty of chargers, road runners, and the like came with black interiors with white seats.
The C68 Carbon will debut at the 2022 SEMA Show in Las Vegas next month. Next, it will go to the Barrett-Jackson Kissimmee, Florida auction in January. And if you are wondering about eXoMod Concepts Future plans, which include a 1969 Daytona charger A reinterpretation of the 1971 Dodge Damon. We’ll be looking forward to seeing these next versions.
