How to preload the ‘Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’ campaign

From today (19.10.) everyone who ordered in advance Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 he PC will be able to preload the game’s campaign mode before this week’s early access phase.

Preload for a campaign kicks off for PC on October 19th at 18:00 BST / 19:00 CEST / 10:00 PT, meaning players can jump straight into single player mode when Early Access begins.

Anyone who pre-ordered Modern Warfare 2 on PC will be able to preload the campaign via Battle.net or Steamdepending on where their copy was purchased.

Early access to the campaign begins on October 20th at 18:00 BST, meaning players have just over a week to complete the single-player story before Modern Warfare 2 begins in full on October 28.

A preload for the entire game, which will include Modern Warfare 2Multiplayer and Special Ops modes will start on October 26th – again at 18:00 BST.

With just over a week until the game’s launch, Infinity Ward also shared Modern Warfare 2Minimum and recommended PC system requirements. The studio’s recommendations are also divided into four separate categories, depending on what quality players want to run the game at.

For PC fans who were able to play the beta version of the game in September, it’s worth double-checking the new system requirements as they have changed since then.
