Further clarification from the head of Microsoft Games pointed to the unique ability of most video game creators. In addition, he noted that their projects offer compelling worlds with a higher appeal for relaxation and entertainment. The president has stated that he will never be part of the boardroom-like metaverse projects.

For his part, Spiegel compared the experiences to living inside a computer. He noted that the iterations of the metaverse concept are currently at the initial level. Therefore, for him, spending his time on such projects will not create any excitement after a stressful working day.

Additionally, Spiegel stated that Snap has focused more on downgrading devices in its service. Instead, it plans to swipe on virtual reality (VR) devices in line with the trend. This project will help provide a great experience in the real world through Augmented Reality (AR).

The virtual world builds an environment that depicts the real world and provides users with exciting experiences. Virtual reality (VR) provides an immersive environment, while augmented reality (AR) enhances the real world environment. User must have a headset device to access VR. However, this is not the case for augmented reality.

Metaverse as a broad term
