Minnesota’s Connecting Entrepreneurial Communities conference to be held in New London next year – West Central Tribune
WILLMAR – New London will be the host of the Connecting Entrepreneurial Communities conference in September 2023, according to a news release from the New London Area Chamber of Commerce.
The conference brings together entrepreneurs and business development professionals from across the state.
Courtney Schmidt-Anderson, New London Chamber of Commerce vice chair, and Sarah Swedberg, business development manager with the Kandeohi County and City of Wilmer Economic Development Commission, attended the 2022 conference last month at the Red Wing.
According to the release, the two were instrumental in securing applications for and securing the 2023 Conference for New London.
The conference will be led by the University of Minnesota Extension Center for Community Vitality, and will be attended by organizations such as the Minnesota Small Business Development Centers, Raythos, Launch Minnesota, the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and many more. ,
Locally, the New London Area Chamber of Commerce, EDC, the Mid-Minnesota Development Commission and the New London Economic Development Authority are sponsoring the event.
The exact date has not yet been determined. The organizers of the conference are working with the Grand Stay Hotel and the Event Center regarding availability.
