The body of a missing 12-year-old girl was discovered in a suitcase in paris on Friday with her throat slit and numbers placed on her corpse, according to the report.
The girl’s parents reported her missing to police on Friday night after she never returned home from school in the French capital, according to French outlet BFMTV.
The father, a security guard at the building where the family lived, told police he saw his daughter on CCTV footage of the building with a woman in her 20s, the report said. The woman was later seen taking the suitcase out of the building.
Investigators searched the basement of the building where the family lived and discovered abduction evidence, according to the report.

Around 11:30 p.m., a man called the police to report the suitcase in rue d’Hautpoul, a few streets away from the family residence. The suitcase contained the body of a girl, who is believed to have died of suffocation.
The outlet reported that the girl suffered wounds to her neck and was bound with tape.
The numbers “1” and “0” were reportedly found on her body. The numbers were reportedly “placed” on the corpse using a “device.”
An autopsy was to be performed to determine cause of death.
The police detained at least four people in connection with this case, according to the report.
