Douglas County Registered Voters — Watch for a General Election ballot in your mailbox. Ballots were mailed to all registered Douglas County voters beginning Monday, October 17th.
Track your ballot. From sent to received, track the status of your mail-in ballot by signing up for phone, text or email notifications from BallotTrax. If you are a registered voter and did not receive your ballot at the address associated with your voter registration by October 26, obtain a replacement ballot by contacting Douglas County Elections at 303-660-7444 or visit Voter service and polling center (VSPC) for assistance from October 24.
What’s on the ballot? Visit Douglas County voting information page to review a composite sample ballot for all Douglas County precincts and contests. Douglas County voters will receive a ballot style that contains ONLY those districts and contests specific to their residential address in which they are eligible to vote.
Also, please note that your voting instruction booklet will look different this year – with new information about reliable sources for election information.
Find your nearest ballot box. Did you know that nearly 90% of Douglas County voters prefer to cast their ballots for free using one of the 21 convenient ballot box locations across the county? Safe, secure ballot boxes are open now until 7pm on Election Day, November 8, 2022.
Vote early. Near you. Regardless of how you choose to return your ballot—by mail, at a ballot box, or at a Voter Services and Vote Center (VSPC)—vote early and show the “I Voted” sticker included with your Douglas County ballot to show your civic pride and remind voters in your community to return their ballots.
Not registered to vote but want to be? Colorado election law allows for voter registration up until and on Election Day. If you live in Douglas County, plan to vote in the November election and are not registered to vote, please do so at DouglasVotes.com until October 31 — after that time you will have to visit the VSPC.
Voting service and polling centers. Voter service and polling centers (VSPC) will open at four locations in Douglas County on October 24. Eight additional locations will open from November 4, and eight more VSPCs will open on November 7, giving voters 20 locations to visit for support on Election Day.
When is the last possible day to vote? Regardless of how you hand it in, your ballot must be received by 7pm on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 – the election day postmark does not count.
