After several months of quiet releases, ChromeOS is 107 rolling out With just a few new features starting today.
ChromeOS 107 offers two improvements for the office. The first lets you quickly”Save the office for laterFrom the “Overview” screen with this button appearing at the top of the leftmost window. When you click, you are taken to “Saved for laterwhich can be accessed to the right of ‘New Office’.
You can assign a name to it, check the creation date, and see a row of open favicons. Tapping will start immediately and restore the office.
Meanwhile, hovering over the open desks in the top bar makes a Close button for this office and its windows. You’ll briefly get an “undo” prompt at the bottom of the screen to reverse course, while Google is also testing out the ability to integrate Office.




The “RecentlyThe ‘View’ available in the Files app has been redesigned with the new ‘Documents’ filter, while the list below is now organized by time period instead of just being a continuous list.
On virtual keyboards, you can just that Long press to access accented characters. ChromeOS 107 now allows you to hold down physical keys to do the same. If it’s not direct, you can enable it manually:
