The Google Pixel watch is getting its breakout moment
Ours Pixel Watch Review is over and we have given it to you top 10 things we think you should do with it, assuming you bought it. So at this point forward, we’re switching modes to find out what this watch can do long-term when worn on the wrist for months and months, as well as any other little tidbits of information that help tell its story over time.
Today comes a new part of the Pixel Watch story iFixit, which completely demolished Google’s first watch. In short, they’ve found a fun glue that holds it together, easy access to the interior, but they’ve kicked it up a notch by saying it has “strong first-gen tech vibes.” They also noted that the crown doesn’t live up to the price, a complaint I fully support.
Through this video, you can see all the components of the Pixel Watch and how Google assembled this first watch. There’s a small battery that takes up most of the space, a large speaker that seems to close to the frame, a health sensor, and the indispensable buttons and crown. weird iFixit says they like the way the bracelets connect to the watch – no thanks.
To see the full video, we’ve added it below. If nothing else, it’s the first look at the first-gen product we’ve been waiting years for. Enjoy.
