Apple’s Siri update rolls out next month with much-anticipated functionality
Apple is looking to bring in another long-term company siri advantage for Camel With tvOS 16.2, allowing the virtual assistant to recognize a user’s voice for the first time on the device.
The First trial version From tvOS 16.2 Siri voice recognition on Apple TV for a more personalized experience — a feature that’s been available on other Apple devices like the HomePod for several years. According to Apple, it will allow Siri to recognize your voice, switch to the correct Apple TV user profile, play music, and provide personalized recommendations for videos, while supporting up to six family members.
Siri voice recognition on Apple TV uses a voice profile from the user Iphone or IPAD, which is visible in beta versions of the update, but is not fully functional yet. The feature will be available to all users when tvOS 16.2 is released later this year – likely sometime in December.
apple tvOS 16.1 released Last month, Apple introduced a new built-in Siri interface and added support for “Hey Siri” voice commands via AirPods on Apple TV. tvOS updates are often minimal in size, focusing on internal bug fixes and improvements rather than noticeable outward-facing changes, but Siri seems to be focusing specifically on the platform at the moment.
Improvements come after Apple Launched the new Apple TV 4KIncluding an A15 Bionic chip, HDR10+ video support, up to 128GB of storage, Siri remote control with USB-C charging, a thinner and lighter design without an internal fan, and more. The device now starts at less than $129 to $149 depending on the configuration.
