At a Glance Doorbell Pack Alerts Outside Pixel 7
With Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, a quick glance pick up A few new features and parcel delivery alerts are now rolling out to older Google phones.
Based on doorbell notifications, which “show who’s at the door when your Nest doorbell rings”, it will now show at a glance “when the package has been delivered or collected”. This requires a Nest doorbell It will display a preview of the image on your lock screen or the top of your home screen.
This is accompanied by the phrase “Package see” and the time increase, while At a Glance also indicates the name of the device it saw. It is enabled by default but can be turned off and joins the other eight features in the main menu.
We’re seeing the At a Glance Package delivered on the Pixel 5 and 6 Pro today as part of a server-side update.
Follow daily weather forecast (and precipitation alerts) expanding beyond the Pixel 7 series at the start of the month. Another new feature is the flight landing card which indicates where your baggage is (belt information). This feature does not have a manual on/off switch, so it can also be brought up at this point.
This is a much faster launch for At a Glance than it has been in the past and could be ahead of new releases coming with a feature drop for December next month.
