Get instant access to your account settings for media and purchases on your iPhone « iOS and iPhone :: Gadget Hacks

There are many ways to open your Apple ID media account settings on your iPhone, but they all require two or more steps. However, there is a hidden trick that Apple hasn’t told anyone about that can get there, and it isn’t Siri.

When you tap your Apple ID in the Settings app, you can view some of your account settings with quick links to your subscriptions and default payment, among other things. But suppose you want to see your account information related to Apple’s digital media services, including the App Store, Apple Music, iTunes Store, Apple News+, Podcasts, TV, and Books. You should go to Settings -> Apple ID -> Media & Purchased -> View Account.

You can also view your Apple ID account settings related to digital media in most of the apps listed above.

• App store: Tap your profile picture, then your Apple ID.
• Books: Click on your profile picture, then on View Account Settings, then on View Account Settings.
• iTunes Store: Scroll down, tap your Apple ID, then View Apple ID.
• Music: Click on your profile picture, then on Account Settings.
• Podcasts: Tap your profile picture, then your Apple ID.
• Television: Tap your profile picture, then your Apple ID.

These media account settings show things like:

• Apple ID (clicking it will take you to appleid.apple.com to edit it)
• family involvement

For faster access to this menu, you can create a shortcut on your home screen that opens directly on it. Open the Shortcuts app, create a new shortcut, and add the following actions:

1. URL (with “itms-ui: //” In the field)
2. Open URLs

This is it. Next, click on the name at the top. You can rename it and choose an icon and color if you like. Otherwise, select “Add to Home Screen”.
