God of War Ragnarok: Launch time and how to play at launch

God of War Ragnarok is coming out soon, and if you’re apparently like everyone who has a PlayStation, you’ll want to know exactly when you can play it on its release date. Kratos and Atreus are all set to demolish a horde of monsters, but at what time can you join them? Here’s when God of War Ragnarok launches, broken down by region.

God of War Ragnarok release time

God of War Ragnarok begins in November 9 at midnightThat is, the “night” of November 8. The following is the distribution of times by region:

• 9 p.m. PT (November 8)
• 11 p.m. PT (November 8)
• 12 a.m. ET
• 5 am GMT
• 4 PM ACT

Based on the numerical list, as shown in several time zones on the PlayStation Store, it will be a simultaneous launch. We’ve also reached out to Sony for clarification, but barring any inconsistency from Sony itself, we expect everyone to have access at the same time.

Of course, this only applies to the digital version of the game, which is always the fastest way to play a new version. If you pre-ordered the digital version, you can pre-download the game on your PlayStation console. It’s not a huge file size, but it will save you some time. From there, you’ll see a message telling you that it hasn’t turned on yet, and it will disappear at the time of unlocking.
