New Pokémon Scarlet and Violet trailer debuts ahead of November 18th release date

The Pokémon Company released what may be its last big trailer going forward on Tuesday Pokemon Scarlet AND Pokemon PurpleS ‘ leaving next week. And the big surprise is this: it’s set to Ed Sheeran’s “Celestial,” the song that debuted in September.

The trailer is a mix of many of the looks and details that have been revealed in previous clips – but there are also a few surprises hidden in there, like a glimpse of two ancient monsters, the Great Tusk and the Iron Treads. ”

There are also some screenshots of Tera Raid Battles, which are mentioned further in a accompanying news release. The Pokémon Company has detailed Black Crystal Tera Raid Battles, which are a different type of Tera Raid – apparently much stronger than regular crystals. Charizard will be the first Pokemon to appear in the new Black Crystal battles, from December 1st to 4th and from December 15th to 18th. The important thing to also consider is that this will be the only way to meet Charizard in Paldea, The Pokemon Company said.

Black Crystal Tera Raid battles are only available after “certain post-game events,” according to the news release. “However, players who have not completed the event can still participate in these Tera Raid Battles by joining other trainers in multiplayer using a link code.”

Recently, The Pokémon Company confirmed that Pokémon Home compatibility is coming in 2023.

Pokemon Scarlet AND blue will be released on Nintendo Switch on November 18th. Avid Pokémon fans are seriously excited about the game, and are posting early spoilers online — including minor details of history, Fuecoco’s second evolution, and some regional Paldea forms.

This is all on top of a large amount of information that The Pokémon Company has announced: There are new starters – Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly — alongside Legendary Pokemon Choraidon and Miraidon. Then there is counts, Fidough, Paldean Wooper, Cetitan, Cyclist, Smoliv, Klawf, Lechonkpawmi, Wiglettand exclusive games Armarouge and Ceruledge. The Pokémon Company also showed off a new electric frog earlier this month; it’s called Belliboltand partner of the Iono gym leader. This is not to forget Greavarda Pokemon puppy that will absorb your life force, and Gimmighula little boy who forces people to do his bidding, who happens to be collecting coins.
