Nintendo eShop Selections – October 2022
Nintendo eShop Selections – October 2022

October has passed and gone, and the horror season is now over. Many are looking forward to the holiday season, spending time with family and – hopefully – playing lots of games with them. But not us. We’re looking back at the best eShop games for October. It’s time for our online store picks!
Last month was a very busy month for Nintendo as Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and Bayonetta 3 landed on our consoles at the end of the month. However, a lot of small gems may have slipped through your fingers. But don’t worry, that’s why we’re here!
As a small side note, we chose not to include them Chaos ; Noah’s head And the Mess, kid Vote where you can buy them Physically packed together. But it was still a strong month for the eShop.
Honorable Mention
October has definitely been one of the quieter months on the eShop for us, but what we have here are some high-quality, popular releases and a specialty supplement full of kaiju and tokusatsu. Come on, that’s so cool.

Factorio has been a huge hit on Steam for years. You entered Early Access back in 2016, before getting a full release in 2020. Now that you’re on Switch? It’s still addictively cool, even with the sturdiest switch controls.
Even for a game that’s naturally suitable for a mouse and keyboard, Factorio feels perfect in manual mode. Building factory after factory, mining resources, building more factories and infrastructures and expanding at an ever-increasing rate is an relentlessly exciting experience. The more you earn, the more you want to expand, and the more you get. It’s always the perfect loop to collect rewards to get more rewards. In addition, you can play it with a friend.
Are you thinking of becoming a master factory builder? Read Our review is 8/10 The more information, the more praise.

The Switch isn’t always the place for a survival horror fix, but pointed out“The low-key retro look, Resident Evil inspiration, and Ghost in the Shell vibe all combine to make one of the best horror games we’ve ever played. And it’s on the online store.” Blemmy.
Equal parts tense and surreal, Signalis brings out the feeling of being trapped. Often your resources are low and you have to rely on patience and strength to sneak around your enemies. You don’t have a health bar so keep an eye on the Elster, so your eyes will never leave the screen. There is just a constant feeling of dread that gets stuck in you and doesn’t let you go. She certainly wasn’t with us, though now we’re a little more afraid of picking our Switch again as a result.
It got a 9/10 from us, so why not find out what makes Signalis so great Read our review.

Uh, the death. One of the most powerful shooters Ever. So when we say it traitor – which just released on the eShop in October after a last-minute delay – might be one of the best Doom-influenced shooters we’ve played, and you know that means something very special.
This is very much a boomer shooter in the context of Dom. We love the retro 3D graphics, pixelated to give us some nostalgia for old computers. The game controls perfectly on the Switch with tight level designs and excellent encounters. The music is a perfect blend of dirty metal and turbulent atmosphere. Prodeus is confident in his vision, adopting the classic boomer shooter design and wrapping himself in every inch of his distinction, perfect in turn. There is even online multiplayer to boot.
If you like old school first person shooting games, then you should definitely choose Prodeus from the online store if you haven’t done so yet. I got A 9/10 of us. That must mean something.

How do we decide our online store picks the top three: As we come to the end of each month, the Nintendo Life team votes on their favorite titles from a list of games hand-picked by the editorial team. To qualify for this list, these games must have been released as a digital Nintendo Switch eShop title only in that particular month, and must have been reviewed on Nintendo Life; We select eligible games based on the results of their review.
The employees are then asked to vote for three matches they think are worthy of sitting at the top of the list; The first choice gets 3 points, the second choice gets 2 points, and the third gets 1 point. These votes are then tallied to create a list of the top three, with the overall winner taking home the first prize of the month.
