Paul Component celebrates the 3rd International Single Speed ​​Day on the 2nd of November

Every Monday at 11am, all PAUL Component Store employees hold an “All-Hands” meeting to follow up on any changes, store news or projects. Two years ago, around this time, Paul announced to everyone that November 2nd is International Singles Speed ​​Day. We all looked at him like “Huh? Who spoke?” Then he said it was his and his girlfriend Amanda’s birthday that day, and it was Amanda’s idea, and why the hell not?

Since I’ve never created an international holiday before, I wasn’t quite sure what to do, so I got on the phone with a bunch of tire makers and motorcycle-obsessed friends and said “Hi. It’s Paul’s birthday on November 2nd, and he wants everyone to ride single speeds.” .are you down?” And of course everyone said yes, why the hell not?

And so, for the past two years, when the magical day comes, a group of people go for solo rides with friends or alone, and share their experience on Instagram with #InternationalSingleSpeedDay Hashtag, show off some cool bikes, wish Paul and Amanda a merry christmas, everyone have a good time.
