Poll: After a year of downloadable content, are you still playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
It’s now been a whole year since Downloadable Content (DLC) Happy Home Paradise Dropped in Game of the Pandemic 2020/21, Animal Crossing: New Horizons. If you bring back your ideas for a full 365 days, you might remember that the DLC came right after that Big 2.0 update To the base game, and while most of us thought we’d snatched every drop out of the game after months and months of daily play, the additional content that came with a semi-sequel to the 3DS Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Give island life some extra excitement as 2021 comes to a close.
While it didn’t add every Quality of Life update fans have been asking for, the update and the DLC pack – which can be accessed free to anyone who was also a subscriber to the Nintendo Switch Online in the expansion pack category – was a convenient scoring tool for the game that kept millions of us company through Some tough times.

To get a better idea of what the Earth is like with a larger sample size of Switch gamers, we thought we’d ask you the question in the survey below. It doesn’t mean some kind of good game judgment (“Oh my gosh, I can’t believe there’s nothing left to do in this 573 hour game!‘), we’re interested in seeing the length of the tail in this game with the hardcore Nintendo crowd – and it’s you!
Feel free to explain why you keep playing, or why you haven’t been back for a while.
