PSVR 2 launches on February 22nd for $550

PlayStation VR 2 will launch on February 22 with a starting price of $550, as did Sony announce. Sony will also sell the Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle that comes with the system and game for $600, while the PSVR 2 Sense console charging station alone will be offered for $50.

PSVR 2 will be available for pre-order from November 15th from the Sony Online Store at direct.playstation.com For shoppers in the US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Pre-order registration opens today, November 2.

PSVR 2 requires a PlayStation 5 console, so getting Sony’s next generation of virtual reality experience up and running will cost you about $1,000 before taxes and any other add-ons.

Sony said that elsewhere around the world, the PSVR 2 will be sold at “participating retailers,” and pre-orders will begin on November 15.

Single games, such as Horizon Call of the Mountain, will open for pre-order starting in November. More details will be announced at a later time.
