Telesto Week at Bungie – 10/11/2022> News
Telesto… [cough, cough, clears throat] We mean, this week at Bungie, we have Iron Banner changes to discuss.
Last week, we reviewed the changes to abilities in the following season. This week we’re gathering with some final notes to answer some community questions and share some changes to Iron Banner.
Map of winning experiments
[Whisper singing the word Anomaly on repeat]

Guardians alert, the trials of Osiris this week will be… [drum roll] boiler! Personally, I would have liked an anomaly (kiddingbut I have fond memories of Anomaly as a rez Warlock character back in Destiny 1 days) so get out there and try a trip to the Lighthouse.
Telesto

We understand that Telesto behaves, well, like Telesto honestly. So, we wanted to give a little tip for new lights you might not have heard that when Telesto is working, we throw a blanket over it so we can put in a more permanent fix.
In any case, there are no mysteries or secrets to be found. Despite what the machine says, we are in complete control of the situation and do not panic.
See you soon, iron banner
[Closing Time plays quietly in the background]

Well, guards, the final iron flag of the season is upon us. Don’t forget to log in next week and finish your title, or even get that freshman!
We want to make a quick note from the team: In Eruption, we’ve fixed a bug where defeating a Primed player on a 5+ streak would give each player an extra score extra. Although it was interesting, it resulted in drastic fluctuations in points that were too much. So now it only rewards points for the player who delivered the final hit. We’ve also updated the mode to only show you Iron Banner medals, instead of inadvertently showing you Crucible medals.
Player Support Report
Better.

The player support team is back, and this week, things are just fine… well, I’m just going to hand it over to them and let the experts give you these updates.
Telesto
help.
Next week in destiny
As we struggle to control our in-game messages from Telesto, here’s what happens next week in Destiny 2:
- Stop Vex’s incursion into The Glassway Nightfall.
- Iron Banner: The eruption is back!
- Shaxx brings Momentum control to the Crucible along with additional Crucible ranks.
- Rotary Pioneer: Deep Stone Crypt.
- Fortified Circle: The Shattered Throne.
Daylight savings reminder
Save your playground characters
Destiny 2 players whose main characters belong from Stadia must set up Cross Save with another platform so that they do not lose access to their characters after Stadia closes on January 18, 2023. Additionally, after January 18, players who use Google Stadia as their primary account must not cancel Activate Cross Save for any reason. Doing so will cause players to completely lose access to their characters.
Ether Tank Radio
We are currently investigating an issue that causes players to be unable to receive all wireless Ether Tank messages when playing across multiple characters.
As a workaround for this issue, players must continue to complete the weekly Sails of the Shipstealer mission missions on a character who has at least one chance left from the spider, making sure they receive all radio messages about that character before advancing the story mission in another.
Please note that players must return to orbit between each radio interaction.
known problems
As we continue to investigate several known issues, here is a list of the most recent issues reported to us in our #Help forum:
What is a geese?

Toxic: Stasis, Strand, Geese, this all makes sense to me *insert rude hand emoji*
movie of the week: Bungie ViDoc: The last item for Bungie ViDoc
hippie: The perfect video does not exist – oh, wait. Yes it is. Every week, in fact. However, there’s something particularly special about Mariah Carey doing something Mariah Carey and bringing the holiday spirit into festive way in a way that no one else can. Watch only.
movie of the week: It’s baaaack.
GOOD MOTW: Day of the Dead
Hey guys, I made the traditional “Altar de muertos” inspired by Destiny 2. Hope you like it!#FOTL #AOTW #MOTW #Destiny 2 #Destiny2Art Tweet embed Tweet embed @cozmo23 Tweet embed Tweet embed Tweet embed Tweet embed pic.twitter.com/oflo0Vqaa5

Art, it’s here!

Bruno: I’m a little sad that the festival of the lost is over because I love the nature of this event and because those masks are always obsessed with me. Enter “estimated neighing” here. Thankfully, The Dawning is just around the corner, and we’re still giving away some of those very cool and exclusive logos.
art of the week: That worm eats pumpkin!
Evan: Because of its aesthetics, Season of the Splicer was my favorite season. So, I can’t wait for Lightfall to be released. Full expansion with neon lights, story development, strand… oh, don’t get me started.
It feels so good not to be alone while waiting for something. Expecting with friends is great.
art of the week: Battle of Neumona
Anyone say more art of the week? Stylish mecha low kick
And this week’s latest art: Let’s go, Titan!
And that’s it for this week’s TWAB adventures. The days are getting shorter and shorter, but that means the holiday season is approaching. I’m not going to lie, I love all holidays because I just love to be excited about things, but the end of the year is always a favorite.
So, stay warm if it’s cold where you are and stay cool if it’s warm. We hope it’s a good start to November, Guardians. We’ll see you next week.
stay crafty,
Toxic
