Engineers and “anyone who would have to write code in other departments” were notified Monday afternoon of a new process for tracking their work, according to an email sent from the address used by Musk and his management team. Starting this week, everyone doing technical work or coding will have to submit a weekly summary of what they worked on, what they were expected to accomplish, and the exact lines of code they wrote.
