Valkyrie Elysium update now available – adds Hilde’s Vengeance, The Seraphic Gate and new difficulty modes

New content: Hilde’s Vengeance

If you have played through Valkyrie ElysiumYou will be familiar with Hilda. This enigmatic character gets along with the protagonist throughout the story – she’s self-confident, sarcastic, and totally cool.

It’s also the star of the free bonus content coming to the game! It’s called “Hilde’s Vengeance”, and it can be accessed from the main menu and offers a whole new experience to play through.

You play Hilda herself. She’s on a mission to get her revenge on All-Father Odin – and she’ll cut her way through any obstacles in her path. Or more accurately, you will.

Playing as Hilda has a different feel to the main campaign. It’s a completely different kind of Valkyrie, with high-hit attacks, its signature halberd and a unique skill tree. She doesn’t have any Einherjar to bring into battle, but she does have four Shadow Servants, who can assist her in battles, as well as a wide variety of divine arts to equip her.

Long story short, it’s amazingly fun to play – for anyone craving more of this amazing fighting…Enjoy!

Two new difficulty modes: “Very Hard” and “Valkyrie”

If you have been playing the game since its launch, you may have become a strong hand in slapping the zombies. So let’s raise the stakes!

“Very Hard” is a new difficulty level that adds more challenge to the game. You will have to use your skills and Einherjar carefully and exploit enemy weaknesses at every opportunity to get through every battle unscathed.

But maybe this is not enough. If you have a true Valkyrie soul (or you are just a glutton for punishment), you can take on the status of “Valkyrie”. This is the real test of your strategy, skills and reflexes – good luck!

You’ve finished the main campaign, and taken Hilde’s Vengeance to its dramatic conclusion – what’s next? Seraphic Gate awaits.

This new feature delivers exciting end-game content that lets you test your fighting skills against waves of enemies – and against the clock.

You will go up floor by floor, meeting different groups of enemies, some bosses with specific set of skills, Einhergars, divine arts and items. Each time you move up, your gear will change – it’s up to you to figure out how to use the tools at your disposal to conquer each challenge.

This mode will test your understanding of enemies, their weaknesses, and your resources Management– Knowing when to spawn a precious item, or unleash a divine art is the key!

Hilde’s Vengeance and Seraphic Gate can be played after completing one of the many endings available in this game. They are the ultimate challenge for anyone Valkyrie Elysium Player – A very entertaining way to conclude your experience with the game. Good luck and God bless you!
