BIG W, Target and Amazon recall thousands of popular toys due to ‘facial injury’ risk
A popular toy has been urgently needed he remembered Within days of the nation’s leading retailers christmas.
Product Safety Australia It advises that Hasbro’s Elefun Flyers game has been pulled from shelves amid fears it could cause facial injuries to children.
The toy – a favorite in thousands of Australian homes – is on sale here top shops including THE BIG W, GoalAmazon and Mr Toys (see full store list below).

Elefun Flyers is a game where young players step on the elephant’s tail to launch round butterfly discs into the air, and players try to catch the discs in butterfly nets.
Authorities warn that “butterfly flights can hit a child in the face.”
“Children are at risk of facial injuries (skin abrasions or bruises),” advises Product Safety Australia.
“Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.”
The recalled game was available in stores and online nationwide from September 1, 2021 to January 5, 2022.
