‘Judas’ release window, trailer and platforms for BioShock creator’s next game
We have not succeeded a new one BioShock game in nearly a decade, but Judas aims to be the next best thing. This new project – led by BioShock’s creative, Ken Levine — finally appeared at The Game Awards 2022 after years of secrecy. This single-player first-person shooter her inspirations on its sleeve, with a stylized art direction, intriguing story and emphasis on narrative. While there is still much we don’t know about Judas, its official reveal gave us a lot of details on what to expect from it. Here’s what we know Judasnext game by Ken Levine.
What is it Judas release window?
Currently, Judas there is no exact release date or window. However, it has been in the works since 2017, when Levine founded Ghost Story Games.
In early 2022, Levine said“We didn’t want to go the show route [the game] too early because we thought it would come out sooner.”
This implies that Judas is nearing completion and may be ready to launch sometime in 2023.
Is there one Judas trailer?
there is! Appeared in 2022 Games Awardsand although it lasts only about a minute and a half, it gives us a great feeling Judas‘ general atmosphere. Check it out above.
who is it Judas the developer?
Judas is in development at Ghost Story Games, a studio founded by Ken Levine. This team was created by former Irrational developers who worked on BioShock AND BioShock Infinite. Levine hasn’t shipped a game since 2013 BioShock Infiniteso when Judas start, it will have been a decade since his last project.
What are they Judas platforms?
Judas expected to launch for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. It is unclear if a Nintendo Switch version is planned at this stage.
What else do we know about Judas?
Little else is known about Judasbut a description in the game’s YouTube trailer gives us a few more details:
A disintegrating spaceship. A desperate escape plan. You are the mysterious and troubled Judas. Your only hope for survival is to make or break alliances with your worst enemies. Will you work together to fix what broke – or let it burn?
Inside the trailer, it looks like the protagonist has a troubled past that could come back to haunt them, so it’s likely that we’ll get a rollercoaster of a story, just like BioShock.
Speaking of which, the trailer also shows gameplay, and it looks like the protagonist uses plasmid-like powers that give players special abilities. It’s unclear how this will work, but it surprisingly seems like a lot BioShock.
Judas is currently under development.
