A new Silent Hill 2 project based on the classic horror game

The purpose of the broadcast, according to the video’s description, will be “to reveal the latest news for Silent Hill series.” That’s cool, but this description appears to have been updated since Twitter user Nibel revealed that a previous version contained details of what might be shown.
According to now deleted info in live stream descriptionKonami indicated that a Silent Hill 2 will be available on the PlayStation Store at some point. Although the description of the video may not be anything, A Twitch streamer called SurvivalHorrorNetwork shared the automated Twitch email they received informing them that the copyright owner — Konami — had monetized the test stream they ran. The copyrighted content listed in the alleged email was “Silent Hill 2: Part 1” which may indicate that regardless of the potential Silent Hill 2 a two-part game is in progress.
Further hints come from the metadata of the livestreams, which there were posted on gaming forum ResetEra for a detailed review. The name of the crash code Silent Hill 2upcoming movie Return to Silent Hill, and something called “Silent Hill: Ascension”. It looks like the livestream will also include interviews and a teaser trailer, as well as possible mentions of PlayStation and Steam. Having the PlayStation referenced in the metadata is a big deal for some Era users, as many have noted that Silent Hill 2 The remake has long been rumored to be a timed exclusive for Sony consoles.
