The group looted the foldable screen of the Motorola RAZR, added some 3D-printed parts and combined it all with a jailbroken iPhone X. It’s a great proof of concept, with little to no durability and a massive gap when folded. Thanks to the iOS jailbreak, it also has a split screen mode. We remain skeptical – and we have questions. How many internal organs reorganization occurred? Can you put a full iPhone battery in half of the phone?
Like the USB-C mod, it is possible to preview upcoming things. Apple has already announced that USB-C iPhones are coming, and rumors suggest that the company may unveil an official foldable iPhone by 2023.

Google has released single VPN apps for Mac and Windows. Just like on mobile, a VPN encrypts and hides your internet traffic. If you’ve ever purchased a game on Stadia, Google’s soon-to-be-expired cloud gaming service, it’s worth keeping an eye on your bank balance and credit card statements. As of today, Google has begun processing refunds for Stadia purchases. The first wave of refunds will include those related to purchases of games, additional content, and subscriptions made through the Stadia Store. Most are expected to be out (including hardware purchases) by the time Stadia servers close on January 18.
However, this will not include the Stadia Pro subscription fee. Google notes that players may be able to transfer their saved data from Stadia to other platforms, but it’s up to developers and publishers to support this. Ubisoft, Bungie, I/O Interactive, CD Projekt Red, Rockstar Games and Bethesda are working on ways to help players take their game progress to other platforms.
