Xbox Cloud Gaming support is coming to 2021 Samsung Smart TVs

Xbox is bringing cloud gaming to some 2021 Samsung smart TVs and adding support for controller noise to the Xbox streaming app.

Support for Samsung 2021 TVs will roll out throughout the rest of 2022. Owners of select TVs will be able to search for and download the Xbox app directly from their TV. You can connect any Bluetooth-enabled controller to your TV, whether it’s Xbox-branded or not. To stream most games, you’ll need to subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. You can sign up immediately in the app if you don’t already have a subscription. However, if you just want to try out the software, you can play Fortnite for free. Samsung Gaming Hub launched on June 30, 2022enabling you to stream games from their 2022 TVs. If you have fast enough internet, it seems they work quite well. At first, your controller couldn’t rumble along with the on-screen action, now a standard feature in video games. By the end of the year, rumble support will be added to both 2021 and 2022 TVs.

Samsung is also running a holiday-related promotion. Until the end of this year, if you buy a Samsung QN85B, QN90B, QN95B, QN800B, QN850B, QN900B or S95B TV, you’ll get an Xbox controller and three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at no extra charge.
